In 2018 MIT Tech Review honored him among the 35 Innovators Under 35 in Europe. In his home country, Finland, Perttu has become one of the most sought-after speakers inspiring thousands of people with his lectures. Perttu’s book Future Skills was recently published in the USA. Prof. Fernando M. Reimers (USA)

Fernando M. Reimers is the Ford Foundation Professor of the Practice in International Education and Director of the Global Education Innovation Initiative and of The International Education Policy Program at Harvard University. He is interested in advancing understanding of the ways schools can empower students to participate civically and economically, and to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. He is a member of UNESCOs Commission on the Futures of Education. 

Dr. M. S. Vijay Kumar (USA)

Vijay Kumar has been providing leadership for sustainable technology-enabled educational innovation at MIT for the past 24 years. He is currently MIT’s Associate Dean of Open Learning and the Executive Director of the Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL). In his prior roles at MIT as Senior Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education, Assistant Provost and Director of Academic Computing, as well at other institutions, Vijay has been responsible for strategy development, launching and leading units engaged in the effective integration of information technology and media services to enable educational change.

Vijay's research as well as his advisory engagements are directed toward strategy, planning and implementing technological innovations to advance educational equity and quality, globally. These include the recent partnership between MIT J-WEL and Latvia for the development the higher education system.
